Using Stirwise
Stirwise is operated by Robert Fish, an Australian sole trader. These terms describe using Stirwise. Stirwise is free to use. You can create an account without an invitation and verify your email to get started. No payment card is required to join. Stirwise Pro is an optional paid subscription available in the iOS app, and a separate choice. Creating an account does not by itself authorise a charge.
Stirwise Pro
Stirwise Pro is an optional paid subscription available in the iOS app. You buy it through the Apple App Store, on the Apple account that pays for it. The website does not sell Stirwise Pro. You can choose a monthly plan or a yearly plan. The price, including the renewal, is the price Apple shows in the app. Stirwise Pro is not sold in the Android closed test. Apple charges you when you confirm the purchase. A free trial may be offered when Apple offers it. A free trial converts to a paid renewal unless you cancel in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel Stirwise Pro in your Apple account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Stirwise Pro continues until the current period ends, unless Apple refunds it sooner. A refund ends Stirwise Pro while time remains in the period. When the current period ends, Stirwise Pro ends. The free Stirwise service stays free. Deleting your Stirwise account does not cancel the Apple subscription. Refunds are requested from Apple. Stirwise does not issue those refunds. Your legal rights, below, including under the Australian Consumer Law, are unchanged.
Your account
Provide accurate details, use an email address you control and keep your sign-in methods secure. Do not share access outside your household, access another household’s information, misuse the service or interfere with its security. Contact robert@stirwise.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
Dinner planning and food safety
Amounts, cooking times, serving sizes and shopping estimates need your judgement. Read the complete recipe and product labels, check allergens and follow authoritative food-safety guidance for storage, thawing and cooking. Ingredient exclusions only match recorded ingredients and cannot guarantee an allergen-free meal. Stirwise does not provide medical or dietary advice.
Shopping suggestions
Product availability, pack sizes and prices may change or be unavailable. Check the retailer’s current information before buying. You choose which suggested products to use in each plan; a remembered choice is not automatic confirmation. Stirwise does not place grocery orders or take grocery payments. Stirwise is independent of retailers and meat suppliers.
Availability and changes
Features and recipes may change, and the service may have interruptions or errors. Keep a copy or printout of any shopping list you need away from an internet connection. We may pause access to address security concerns or misuse, or end the service. Where practicable, we will give notice of changes that materially affect your participation and time to export your data.
Your information and feedback
You retain rights in the information you provide. You allow us to process it to deliver the service and use your feedback to improve Stirwise, as described in our privacy policy. This does not give us permission to publish your personal information or use it in testimonials without asking you.
Leaving and getting help
You can stop participating at any time and export your planning data. You can delete your account in the iOS or Android app, or from the Delete account page on this website without signing in. Deleting the Stirwise account does not cancel an Apple subscription. To leave the Android closed test, ask for help or raise a complaint, email robert@stirwise.app. Tell us what happened so we can investigate.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law. This description of Stirwise does not remove those rights.
